Trodding around in Sarah’s shoes not only gave me a semi confidence boost (which didn’t help to sway the awkwardness behind the camera but was worth a shot) but it also gave me a boost in height, finally bringing me up to her level. Needless to say she didn’t like me being the same height as her as we’re all used to me being the short one.
Platform shoes are not only hard to walk in but when they are three sizes to big it does make the matter harder. Walking around in her shoes made me feel like a child again, walking around in mums big shoes pretending I was ‘all growned up’. Actually this whole outfit makes me feel like a child again, especially since I’m so used to parading around in all black.
Every time I wear these pants I get either a) compliments or b) weird looks. Either is fine with me and it’s kind of my happy go to outfit. It’s so hard to fit colour into every day outfits and though this may be going a tad overboard…well it’s fun. What can ya do?
|the famous head tilt, my head is also the same colour as the wall|
So besides stacking it multiple times, we found some random white wall which didn’t make me look orange and got to shooting. Although looking like a kid wasn't exactly the look I was going for, most of the pictures turned out with me looking fairly childish. But, like I said, it’s fun. And technically, as an 18 year old, I am still a child.
Outfit Cost: $29 (+$200 if you count the shoes, but I would never buy anything so expensive)
(Tee- $9, jeans $12, necklace $8, shoes courtesy of Sarah (originally $200 ))
